Product Description
The 'original' sets a high standard for Highland whisky, and has gone from strength to strength since its slightly controversial packaging redesign a few years ago. Medium-bodied and gently warming, with pleasant spicy notes.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose
Soft, clean and refreshing: lemon sherbert and apricots, with honeyed fruit and a touch of toffee and vanilla. Gentle and satisfying.
Palate
A little weightier on the palate, with honey and malt, banana bread and subtle sweet spices. Clean and well balanced.
Finish
The honeyed fruit fades softly, and the finish is whistle-clean.
Comment
A textbook whisky, this – well made, beautifully balanced, delicate but still flavoursome.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Aroma
Citrus and ripening peaches are balanced by vanilla softness.
Taste
Vanilla emerges, then gives way to a burst of flowery fruitiness.
Finish
A clean and salving aftertaste with hints of orange and peach.

About Glenmorangie
Established in 1843 in the highland town of Tain, Glenmorangie is one of the best-known single malts in the world. Its Port Wood Finish, released in 1994, marked the beginning of a series of whiskies finished in a huge variety of adventurous cask types, from Cognac to Rhône wine to rye whiskey, but the heart of the range remains The Original.

Great value for this price. Very nice malt
Okay not one for me
Good but not compared with older Scotch such as 21 year Glenfarclas.
My daughter brought me a bottle of this Glenmorangie whiskey tonight from my local cooperative I wanted bush mills but they didn’t have it so she brought me this one and I love it will certainly buy this again lovely and smooth
This is my go-to malt, it is simple, smooth but with character and has a wonderful taste.
