Dalmore 18 Year Old is an annual limited-release that showcases the distillery’s renowned sherry-focused house style. This expression, released in 2023, was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Gonzalez Byass Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, creating a bold and rich whisky with notes of chocolate-covered raisins, citrus fruits, rich coffee and nutmeg that linger towards a warm fruit-filled finish.

The Dalmore 18 Year Old is an annual limited-edition single malt, artfully created by master whisky maker Gregg Glass to harness a bolder evolution of the distillery’s house style. The 2023 Edition was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels, creating layers of vanillla and honey on the palate. It was later moved to hand-selected 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, adding layers of dried fruit, baking spices and rich chocolate.

Dalmore distillery has produced whisky on the north shore of the Cromarty firth since 1839. Fostering close relationships with producers such as Gonzalez Byass, the distillery team has been able to select a range of high-quality sherry butts and wine barriques over the years that have forged The Dalmore’s classic style and made it a favourite of whisky connoisseurs around the world.
