This is an exclusive bottling of Bruichladdich for The Whisky Exchange, it was matured in a first-fill Sauternes cask which marries beautifully with the distillery’s creamy spirit. There are rich and fruity characters in the glass, with aromas of Highland toffee, fruitcake and tablet on the nose, complemented by notes of butter biscuit, apricot and sultanas on the palate.

- Nose
  Creamy fudge, Highland toffee and tablet to start. Through the cream and sweetness is a thread of red berries leading to fruitcake, vanilla ice cream and a cheesecake-bound buttery biscuity base. Malt syrup and freshly cooked grain notes develop
- Palate
  Rich and thick with intense vanilla cream, stewed apple, and spicy nutmeg and cinnamon to start. That calms to reveal Danish butter cookies and shortbread, cream cheese frosting, fresh apricots, sultanas and slightly singed toffee
- Finish
  Cinder toffee, sultanas and milk chocolate fade to leave spiced baked apples and custard on a polish wooden plate
