This fruity Dailuaine shows vivid notes of tropical fruit, wildflower honey and touches of umami thanks to finishing in a rum cask from the legendary Foursquare in Barbados. There’s a lovely synthesis here between the oily, waxy Dailuaine spirit and the ginger and citrus notes we often find in Barbados rum that makes this a very charming bottling. Dailuaine has long been a best kept secret of whisky lovers in the know, but expressions like this one are going to ensure that it doesn’t stay a secret for long.
