A pure single Jamaican rum, it’s distilled on-site using local spring water, wild-yeast fermentation, and copper pot stills, with no added sugar or artificial colouring. It carries that funky, fruity, tropical character that Hampden Estate rum has become so renowned for: think ripe banana, pineapple, tropical fruit, sugar cane, herbal notes, and a touch of petrol and spice.

  Classic Jamaican funk: overripe bananas and banana peels with pineapple sweets, mango, p;ished leather and vanilla custard. Banana notes dominate, diving into foam banana sweets and rich banana bread.
- Palate
  
  Sweet barley sugar and banana with building spice: cinnamon and clove. Tarry hints and freshly slapped mint sit in the middle, surrounded by aniseed balls and spiced, fruity bread, studded with raisins, sultanas and candied citrus peel.

  Green leaves and mint fade to leave dark chocolate and bananas.
