Woven Whisky brings together a worldwide community of whisky makers to craft expressions guided by flavour rather than origin. By blending whiskies from across the globe, Woven Whisky challenges traditional perceptions of blending, creating innovative and approachable drams.

The Pure Malt pays homage to the earliest malt-only whisky blends while bringing a modern global twist. This innovative expression sources single malts from around the world, blending Scottish malts from five distilleries with single malts from Taiwan, a red wine-cask-matured malt from Australia, and a peated single malt from India.

On the nose, it reveals a core of crisp apple and soft yellow sherry notes, while the palate unveils richer fruits, toasted, savoury layers, and a delicate hint of smoke.

    Disclaimer not the most sophisticated of palettes but my two peneth after letting it sit for 30 mins Nose:- fairly full the alcohol is there but not overpowering there's honey and sugar although to me more confectionery or treacle sweetness than brown or molasses. Orchad fruits and blossom a very faint citrus and apple though more bodyshop apple soap or apple sours than fresh green if there's smoke and cherries it's very faint and I got no raspberry or toast and only the faintest hint of smoke though there was something else I couldn't pin point Palette:- this reminded me of darkness 8 for its whiskey intensity again a nice alcohol that's there but not to much the appleis very forward and still more apple sours than apple apple and it's toned down by the honey, went lurching for the toast and raspberries but buggered if I could find them but the the peat smoke rather than ash tips it's hat and the cherry makes an appearance especially on the finish which is nice and fairly long brining everything together Niether the nose nor the palette was improved with water and it doesn't need it but each to their own. Is it worth the money, well that's subjective I'd buy it again at this price but not more and I will try others in the range. Not a new favourite but still very nice
