Product Description
The oldest single malt yet to emerge from Arran’s Lochranza Distillery, this bottling was created from stock first laid down in sherry hogsheads at the very beginning of Arran’s existence. Careful aging in these special casks has brought forth a single malt that shows layers of complexity and rich sherry influence without losing Arran’s fruit-forward character. The nose invites with burnt orange, full spice and toasted oak before the palate opens up with a rich succession of honey, ripe fruit and vanilla to complement the sherried influence. It finishes long, as sweet toffee apple and orange zest slowly fade out.
