A Lowland single malt whisky from Lindores Abbey that has aromas of vanilla, caramel, crunchy apples, pear drops and toffee that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of dried fruit, citrus, cream, vanilla and oak spice that linger in the finish.

    A very decent dram for a first release! It is mildly fruity but not overbearingly so. In a blind tasting I would not have guessed that this was so young. Hopefully a sign of more good things to come.

    A solid, if unspectacular opening salvo from Lindores. It’s complexity defies its age, but it’s nothing to write home about. I am looking forward to older expressions in the future.
