Tasting Notes

Ning Heywood, The Whisky Exchange
- Nose: Earthy and vegetal, yet surprisingly light, with hints of smouldering hay. Set honey, lemon rind and hints of green peppers developing over time.
  Palate: Sweet and sharp initially, with plum skin and pomegranate, burning heather, white pepper, ginger and green chillies building on the tongue. Aromatic roasted agave appears alongside sweet touches of honey.
  Finish: Smoother and less spicy that the palate, Tequila takes the lead here – all green herbs, bell peppers and soft florals.

- Nose: Crisp green grapes, sage, bay leaves, burning leaves and green branches open, followed by heather and damp earth.
  Palate: Sweet agave syrup, ripe plums, root ginger, dewy garden herbs and earthy spices burst forward with an undercurrent of aromatic smoke.
  Finish: Spicy and rich, the finish has lingering notes of garden herbs, agave syrup and sweet, crunchy grapes
