Named after Queen Anne of Great Britain and Ireland, who was in power when England and Scotland were united as a single sovereign state as Great Britain. Queen Anne is a blended Scotch whisky first produced in 1884 by Hill Thomson & Co Ltd, with association with famous Speyside distilleries - Glenlivet, Glen Grant and Longmorn, it became a flagship brand and was being sold all over the world.
