Pioneering commercial, artisanal arrack, Rockland Distilleries began production in 1924. What previously was known as an unrefined, unappreciated spirit, was turned into something special. Today the distillery is run by the fourth generation of the Rockland family and is well known for the production for some of Sri Lanka's finest arracks.
