American whiskies, with their rich notes of vanilla and spice, are perfect for festive cocktails. Here, we’ve paired the pecan pie and caramelised banana flavours of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 with apple and ginger in a refreshing highball. We’ve also used the slightly more robust Single Barrel Select in a Christmassy twist on the classic Godfather and whipped up an Espresso Martini with a little extra vanilla and dried fruit flavour courtesy of Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select. - 50ml Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7
- 50ml Cloudy apple juice
- Ginger ale
- Optional: Dash Angostura Bitters
Pour the Jack Daniel’s and the cloudy apple juice into a highball glass with plenty of ice and stir briefly to chill. Top with ginger ale and garnish with slices of apple.
- 50ml Woodford Reserve
- 25ml Fresh espresso
- 25ml Coffee liqueur
- Sugar to taste
- Coffee beans to garnish
Pour all your ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake hard until chilled. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with coffee beans.
- 35ml Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel
- 35ml Amaretto liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- Cocktail cherries
Combine ingredients in a rocks glass with ice and stir to chill. Add more ice to keep things cold and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
