Roe & Co

Roe & Co is a contemporary Irish whiskey with a versatile character and a distillery in the heart of Dublin. It's named in honour of a whiskey-maker that helped build the golden era of Irish whiskey in the 19th century: George Roe & Co.

Launched in 2017, Roe & Co's first whiskey was created in a collaborative effort between Dublin-based bartenders and master blender Caroline Martin, focusing on crafting a whiskey that is at home in a cocktail, on the rocks or served neat. It is a whiskey perfected by bartenders, for bartenders.

Roe & Co

Blended Irish Whiskey

A complex and adaptable blended Irish whiskey, Roe & Co is made with a hand-selected blend of malt and grain whiskies from across Ireland, married in American-oak ex-bourbon casks.

The nose brings a medley of vanilla and spice, with aromas of custard tarts, grated nutmeg, lemon zest, peach, pear and pineapple cubes. The palate echoes the creamy vanilla, followed by ripe orchard fruits, unripe mangoes, tart lemons, fruit gums and malty biscuits, fading to leave lingering hints of pear skins, green apple and whipped cream on the finish.

Roe & Co Sour

Vibrant and characterful, this whiskey is sure to excel in a wide range of cocktails, from the classics to more modern mixes. Why not start with Roe & Co's take on the classic whiskey sour?

About

Roe & Co

Named in honour of George Roe & Co, one of the biggest Irish whiskey producers of the 19th century, Roe & Co pays tribute to the historic Thomas Street distillery that closed its gates in 1926. As George Roe & Co was a neighbour of Guinness, it is only fitting that the new Roe & Co distillery on James Street, Dublin, sits across from the Guinness Storehouse and Brewery, keeping old friends close.

The distillery opened in 2019 and is equipped to work with a lot of different mash bills, spirit styles and distillation techniques, perfect for creating delicious, creative whiskey. From the ground up, the distillery was designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating contemporary technologies to help reduce waste and emissions, such as fixed cooling loops that reduce the amount of water used in production.
