Customer Rating

A cult gin from Mahon in Menorca, Xoriguer is one of the only gins in the world (alongside Plymouth) to have a geographical indication, Gin de Menorca. Gin has been made on Menorca since the 18th century British occupation and Xoriguer commands a devoted following of happy travellers. Unusually, Xoriguer is made in wood-fired pot stills from distilled wine (eau-de-vie) rather than the more usual grain-based distillate, and is rested in oak barrels before bottling.

I drank this gin when I lived in Menorca! The locals drink it with Fanta Lemon and plenty of ice. It's a delicious gin!

Beautiful citrus aromas and flavors w/ a dry peppery finish. I love this one in Gin & Tonics but also very nice as a Martini.

Yes this is the best! Drank it every day on holiday in Menorca. I thought Gordon’s was the greatest!

truly a wonderful gin, with a good hit of lemon zest, I enjoy drinking this in either a crushed ice shot, to clear the palate, or as a Pomada.

First tasted it in the Gin factory in Mahon but was pleased to be able to get it without visiting Minorca.

Love this gin but you must have it with either Fanta Lemon or another similar lemon mixer i.e. Italian lemon also works. Then you have yourself a 'Pomada' which is drank in Menorca and is the Island's favourite tipple.

I think it is the BEST gin in the world! First had it in Minorca in 1972 and absolutely loved it as a sipping gin, shaken over crushed ice in a classic martini shaker, then strained into chilled martini glass with a twist of lemon and nothing else dilute it's smoothness and unusual flavor. We had not been back to Minorca and I have been unable to get this gin until I found it on your website. We were thrilled to see that it could be ordered and shipped to the United States, and it arrived in only seven days from our order! Well packed and cushioned, two bottles arrived U damaged. We enjoyed the perfect purist "martini" - very cold, with just twist of lemon - a GREAT solution to a hot Arizona summer evening! We like Junipter Green organic gin, Plymouth, and Boodles... But Xoriguer is in a class by itself, like no other we have ever had anywhere. So It tops our list! We are very pleased to have a reliable source for it now.

First tried this gin forty years ago! Still as good as ever. Made yet another trip to Menorca this year and managed to bring back a couple of litre bottles this year. Wonder how long they'll last me?! Best gin ever, in my opinion! Just the job with tonic from the fridge and a slice of lemon from the freezer.

Quite simply the best gin I have ever tasted. Wonderful aromas and not harsh like some gins I have tasted. Great with tonic and has to be a slice of lemon. Good too with authentic still lemonade, then you have a Pomada.

Very nice gin. Unusually distilled from grape alcohol, rather than grain. I just returned from Minorca and visited the distillery. Do visit if you are going to the island, They give you a tour and leave you with a shot glass and an amazing array of bottles containing different flavoured spirits - coffee, herb, chocolate (Yes! Chocolate gin!) but with no-one around to care how many tasters one has!!
