  This is a nice friend to Islay man like me. This also interesting, because at first it appears to be light and somewhat fruity, but the finish is deliciously smoky and tarry. A very balanced and rich in nuances. Perfect after sauna dram :)

  Wasn't deeply impressed on the first tasting, but it kept improving on subsequent tries. Good peaty, smokey flavor with a hint of straw or dried grass. Almost like a peated Irish or perhaps a simpler, lighter Laphroaig. It grows on you and I'll likely be buying more.

  Not for me, sharp and harsh. Tried it with water but it didn't open up well at all. Graeme Bruce

  The nose hints at a much more complex malt than is actually the case but not a bad whisky. Best with as little water as possible. Give it a go.
