Tasting Notes by Billy A
Nose: Sweet and floral, with some sour fruit (unripe peaches and mango, and lime zest), sweet buttery pastry, marzipan, cola bottles, sticky cherries, plum jam and a hint of metal.
Palate: Marzipan and sherry fruit up front, shot through with sour spices and wood. There were also Cinnamon Grahams, good maraschino cherries, polished wooden floors and big woody spice.
Finish: Spicy, with nutmeg, ginger, soft brown sugar and dark unfinished wood.

One of my favorite all time whiskies. There will always be some on my shelf, as long as I can still get my hands on some. Beautiful food of the gods.

In 30 years, thousands of drams, this is one of the greatest whiskies I have ever had the pleasure of nosing and drinking.

As good as whisky gets!
