Product Description
Released at the beginning of 2013, this 30 year old is the second oldest core expression in the Highland Park range. Bottled at a lower strength than previous editions, it exudes notes of aromatic spices, dark chocolate orange and the characteristic fudge sweetness that one has come to expect from older Highland Park bottlings.

Well I found myself in the Lounge at the St Columba Hotel on Iona. It’s not everyday you are face to face with a 30yr whiskey of renown in a common bar. It was trafalgar day and I decided I would embark upon a once in a lifetime experience. I will not debase this review with price but it was HIGH; so high as to make one questions one’s sanity. However, looking out upon the stunning vista of Mull and sipping SLOWLY such a stunning dram one could not say anything about it except it was one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences. The whiskey was, as one would expect, exceptional. It’s smoothness was exemplary as was the delightful aroma which hung on the nose. The major question was could I justify the hefty price tag…yes I could for an unrepeatable experience. I feel I did Nelson proud and, in a bizarre kind of way, I felt I had carried out the great man’s orders…I did my duty.
Love it. Smooth. And. Rich. Taste
The finish is long with hints of smoke and a fine wine left to enjoy. One of the best I ever had the pleasure of having.
One of my favorite all time whiskies. There will always be some on my shelf, as long as I can still get my hands on some. Beautiful food of the gods.
In 30 years, thousands of drams, this is one of the greatest whiskies I have ever had the pleasure of nosing and drinking.
