Customer Rating

The second edition of Dave Broom's World Atlas of Whisky – an essential guide for the enthusiast, with clear, beautifully rendered maps of the whisky-producing regions and of course vast swathes of Dave's erudition, wit and wisdom which has, as expected, raised the bar of whisky scholarship once again. A must-have.

Excellent book, it is well researched with a good historical reference. It delves into why a company is still functioning, the things it did right and the happy accidents. It is rather unbiased which is nice, nothing better than a good survey of what is out there and why you should access it. I learned a lot from reading it, both in the local Rye growing region of Canada and the mother of all whiskey''s "Scotch". The sweetness of Corn Whiskey is adressed as well. Enjoy this book with a glass of the good stuff.
