Customer Rating
Cult German herb liqueur, blessed with a highly unusual love-it-or-hate-it flavour. Jagermeister's bittersweet flavours are best appreciated ice-cold in a frozen glass, but in recent years it's attracted a huge cult following as a result of the Jager Bomb cocktail (mixed with Red Bull or other energy drinks)..

Jagermeister is the Marmite of booze, you either love it or you hate it. I love it.

It tastes like crap. Hyped up liqueur for a target audience of 18 year old boys. Not that popular in Germany where it’s made because they know better.

It kicks me but I absolutely love Jager. The Jager bomb is now my favorite drink.

I enjoy it poured straight over ice. Fill a solo cup with ice and fill about halfway with Jager. Sip it and enjoy slowly to savor the explosive flavor. Nice way to relax on an afternoon.

A friend introduced it to me just last week, and I loved it. It goes very well with spicy foods. The only problem is that here, in Brazil, it warms up pretty fast, losing the mouthfeel that I find appealing.

Taste is very strong, reminds me of Vicks 44 cough syrup. Using as such and it kicks the cough. Is better ice cold.

Whilst I haven't had it in a while, I would describe it as very strong, liquorice-ey flavour, with a hint of something similar to Covonia cough syrup. I don't think that the taste'll grow on you, so I'd recommend only going for the wee bottle to try, if it's your first time. I think it's the sorta drink to warm you up on a cold night, I don't see it as a party drink myself and I don't see it's appeal as a mixer.

jager will put hair on your chest! its a nice drink by itself

For those bitter cold winter nights add a shot of Jager to a cup of black sweet tea. It's called Jagertee and it's not only delicious but incredibly warming.

FORGET JAGERBOMBS!!! If you want to get stoned out of your head quickly, neat vodka is the drink. Jagermeister is a refined German liqueur and should be ENJOYED straight, for it's rich, smooth taste and NOT as a vehicle for getting stoned mixed with unrefined chemicals like Red Bull!!!

I'm not sure I agree with the comment that if you dont like Sambucca you should avoid Jeger. I hate Sambucca yet Jegar is my guilty pleasure. It is an aquired taste and I find the more I drink the more I love it. Highly recomend it. just buy a shot and see how it goes ;)
