The fourth release in the Macallan Harmony Collection is a vibrant and complex single malt that beautifully captures the influence of sherry casks on its spirit. Made in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, Vibrant Oak has been matured in a combination of first-fill American oak sherry casks and refill sherry casks, creating a balance between the rich sherry character and the sweet spice and vanilla of American oak.

The fourth release in The Macallan Harmony Collection is Vibrant Oak, a lively, complex collaboration with Cirque du Soleil. Inspired by the influence of sherry casks on its spirit, this single malt was matured in a combination of first-fill American oak sherry casks and refill sherry casks, balancing the rich sherry character with the classic vanilla, citrus and sweet spice of American oak.

The beautiful illustration of Vibrant Oak is inspired by the story told in the Cirque du Soleil SPIRITS experience – a story centred around the oak tree, a symbol of strength and endurance, and inspired by the history of The Macallan, Scottish culture and the Highlands.

The illustration features a human figure intricately intertwined within the branches of an oak tree, representing the connection between the natural world and the human experience, as well as incorporating peacock feathers, symbolising The Macallan’s bright character.

In 2018, The Macallan officially opened its ambitious new distillery, a masterpiece of engineering and design. Now one of the largest distillers in Speyside, with space to continue growing, the future looks bright for The Macallan and fans of sherried single malt.

The distillery’s longstanding relationship with the sherry producers of Jerez, Spain, has helped The Macallan to amass an array of exceptional casks in which to mature its spirit, while the distilling team continues to drive innovation and create new and exciting whiskies.
