The Dalmore Vintages series combines the finest casks from a single year to create a single malt that embodies the distillery's character and showcases the skill of its whisky-makers. The second release of whisky in this series includes this 2007 Dalmore that began its life in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and was transferred into a combination of Matusalem, Amoroso and Apostoles sherry casks, and Marsala wine casks, before being married together and bottled in 2022. Aromas of freshly-baked brioche, ginger cake and fondant icing fill the nose, complemented by notes of orange blossom, mandarin, cinnamon, clove, ginger snaps and sugar-dusted pastries throughout the palate.
