Nose: The ginger aromas evolve, starting from ginger ale at first whiff, turning into ginger beer and then intense crystalised ginger. There's a hint of lemon sherbet in the background,too.
Palate: Sticky in texture with the ginger growing in intensity and the lemon becoming more curd-like in nature.
Finish: The fiery spice slowly dissipates, leaving a mouthcoating lemon sweetness.
Comment: A useful liqueur to have in the cabinet. It's very warming at room temperature – perfect for taking in a hip flask on a winter walk. Chill and add to Champagne or sparkling wine and you have a spicy version of a classic Kir.

The bottle caught my eye, I had a tasting and it was sold. It’s smooth and warming. It’s a sophisticated ginger experience, absolutely satisfying.

I bought into these reviews. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I love ginger this is similar to jagermiester. No one likes it. Dont risk it. Buy a spirit and a different gingerbeer if you like ginger. Fevertree or cock n bull. Dont buy into the b.s.!

Great drink in a terrible bottle - impossible to know how much (or little) is left, as it the glass is COMPLETELY opaque the bottle is so heavy that even when empty, it feels full! But as I said, the contents are great!

I first sampled it 4 years ago when looking for a good bottle of whiskey for my father and absolutely loved it. I have bought it ever since and drink it neat with ice or as a mix with whiskey. The perfect way to warm you up on a cold winters night. Looking to order another three bottles as family and friends now love it.

Amazing with Demi-sec sparkling whites, but get the amount right not too much, just hint in the drink is best. Bought it at the Hampton Flower Show.

i tried this first at the recommendation of the waiter in the seattle hotel at brighton marina, i had it neat from the fridge,perfect. then as a coffee liquor.if you like ginger and liquors and you don't like them too sweet ( as you get older )it's perfect amondo !! a great digestif' as the french would say .get yourself some and enjoy.
