    Highland Park like Highland Park don't make anymore. It has the hallmark Orkney peat and a big dollop of sherry. Nicely balanced if a little cask/sherry driven. Easy to drink and easy to recommend.

    I am no whisky expert, but I found this whisky extraordinary. I had never tasted one with such a high alcohol content, but now I feel the usual whisky strength too watery by comparison. The oloroso barrel has given the spirit a rich roundness with a slight peatiness and a long aftertaste. One small glass was enough to make it the highlight of the evening. A mellow gem!
