Made using the once near-extinct Horton Rye and distilled in the heart of New York City, Jaywalk Rye brings old school rye whiskey flavours to the modern age. Starting with only 10 seeds of Horton Rye, New York Distilling now has - in conjunction with local farmers - 200 acres of the variety growing in New York. This small batch rye whiskey is a blend of 6, 7 and 8 Year Old whiskies made with 75% rye, 13% corn, and 12% malted barley. Classic flavours of rye spice and brown sugar meet with candied pineapple and dried mango, with a sweet vanilla finish.
