I was stationed in Germany two times, with a name like Hartman, you know Asbach Uralt has to be my favorite. I always have a bottle on hand. Everyone that I let have a drink of it absolutely loves the taste. Best Brandy Ever made.

I first had Asbach on New Year's Eve in Gelnhausen, Germany with some locals at a gesthaus. I was in the US Army. I have never tasted its equal!!! I was there in 1972-75. I just bought a bottle in California for New Year's Eve ,2017??????

The best Brandy ever!!! First introduced to Asbach by squaddies in Dortmund Germany, had never tasted any brandy until then, and have never looked back, I drink Courvosier and Martel in UK, along with Pepsi in a long drink, no ice, but a slice of Lemon or Lime, (incase you ever want to buy me a drink lol) in my opinion they're the closest in taste to Asbach. I'll have to order some for my Christmas pressie to myself. Jokes aside Asbach really is the greatest. I've had a drink of a Brandy that cost about ?19 a shot, and that was awful! I can get a whole bottle of my favourites for the same or less.

Tried this last summer in Rudesheim; 10 minute walk from the campsite to the Asbach visitor's centre. Ended up with a number of miniatures, a hipflask, two bottles of Uralt and a bottle of 8 year old. The standard Uralt is lovely - I'm happy with it neat but prefer it with Coke. It's got a strong, full-bodied flavour I love. Going back this year and will buy more.

I give my husband a bottle every year for Christmas. Last year we had our sons visiting us for Christmas and we introduced them to Asbach and they fell in love with it. This year one of my sons has requested 2 bottles for him.

Very happy that TWE sell on their website. A big fan of Asbach. I do not buy any other brand of brandy. I bought a bottle recently for my parents and it's safe to say I am in their good books. Great stuff and I recommend to all.

Hi, I went to germany in march from Logan airport. There was a terrible snow storm, we were on the runway for hours being deiced. The captain opened the bar, while we were being, and the person next to me was from Germany, and she said you must try the asbach and I did, and it was great. Finally the captain decided to leave Logan and fly to Germany. When he got into the air we all applauded and landed safely. Ever since asbach has been a favorite - on the rocks or in a nice cup of coffee.

I was introduced to Asbach Uralt while stationed in Augsburg between 1979 and 1981. We had some professional drinkers on our teams and this was, by far, the tastiest of the non-beer victuals. Awesome stuff!

I was introduced to Asbach Uralt back in Munster in the Spotted Dog pub about this time of year as I joined my Regiment The Royal Scots today 1976 10th August the day before my 18th birthday. I have drank man a bottle dry. A happy memories TTFN

I was introduced to Asbach while stationed in Wildflecken, West Germany in 1977-78. We put away lots of Asbach and Coke. Very tasty.
