Tasting Notes
Tasting notes Billy Abbott
Nose
Crisp apples on the seashore – orchard fruit, sea spray and a hint of seaweed. More fruit builds behind the apples, with lemon and pineapple joined by a touch of unripe mango. After a few minutes in the glass, a gentle note of buttery pastry drifts out from beneath the fruit.
Palate
Soft, rounded and chewy, with sun-drenched mangoes sat beside crunchy Granny Smiths. A savoury minerality builds behind, with tarred ropes and earthy peat smoke balanced by charcoal and stony beach rockpools.
Finish
A pinch of white pepper heat fades to reveal sweet fruit. Tartness builds and then fades to leave a gentle peppery tingle and soft, tarry smoke.
Comment
Classic fruity Bowmore with balanced sweetness, smoke and spice. If you like tropical fruit, get this.

Outstanding dram!
Super whisky but expensive compared to similar age lady of the glen release
Outstanding whisky !
Run of the mill teen age Bowmore. Not the fruity profile of some of the recent late nineties distillate IMHO. Disappointing for the price.
Christmas pressie for my hubby. Can't wait for him to open them.
