The company has been at the forefront of Champagne production since its founding, helping popularise the drink and driving forward the méthode champenoise.

Vintages

A Vintage Champagne will be made exclusively from grapes harvested in a particular year. Vintage Champagnes reflect the qualities of a single year, as opposed to their Non Vintage (NV) bottlings, which are a blend of several vintages and are made to reflect the company's house style.

Storage and Suggested Drinking Dates

To keep your Veuve Clicquot Champagne in perfect condition, store it horizontally, not upright, and keep it out of direct sunlight. All Champagnes are released to be drunk immediately, but many will improve with several years' ageing. In the case of Veuve Clicquot, it will be elegantly fruity when young, developing complexity over time.
