I love it hope it stays in the line up. I gotta go get another bottle because I'm about to finish this one. The fellas at poker were a little scared to try it but a few did and they loved it.

I'm by no means a whiskey conosoiur, but I have tried many whiskeys. This is truely one of the best. I have several brands in my home bar. Some are expensive special double oak single cask types that have purchased to impress guests or I received as gifts. But the one I buy and drink most often is Old Grand Dad 114 or Old Grand Dad Bottled in Bond. I enjoy it more than the more popular and more expensive whiskey I've had the opportunity to try. The full bodied, high mash bill whiskey recipes by Old Grand Dad taste the best to me.

My new FAV I am one of the Jim Beam types. Jack is fine but Jim is better, until Grand-dad walked in. Yes it is sharp, the 114 assures that. Most important however is the depth of the flavour. Very rich, slightly fruity malty with a clean finish. It is one the straightest Bourbons I have had, not only in this price range. It is a unique pallette, one I find I am very partial to. Don''t judge by the 114, sip and savor. You will like OGD114

may it remain around for years to come (here in the u.s.)! so lovely for what it is and has been and will be....!? spicy/hot....youngish, but with depth...this is both teen and elder, fiery and expansive....the kicker is the price for....what you get. can you appreciate it? that''s the second kicker. get it while you still can....there''s rumours it''s either ending or...going up up up in price...the praeternatural bookers, basil, knob, bakers....beam beam beam

This Old Grand-Dad 114 just puts a huge smile on my face. Enormously entertaining. Intense and wonderful.

Just fantastic. Much smoother than you'd expect at this strength and no need for dilution. Highly recommended.

Two glasses of this bourbon and that was my Friday night sorted. Every sip I took just had sooooooooo much flavour and I can still taste it the next day!Pure epicness in a bottle.Best saved for Friday nights only...

Absolutely lovely. Sweet, spicey, caramel, smooth...I was very pleasantly surprised. Much more complex than a good simple bourbon like Maker's Mark, and doesn't have the burn you'd expect. I don't know why this stuff isn't more popular.

I'm no whiskey or bourbon connoisseur but I tried this for the first time last week. Previously I had just drunk no7 and Jim beam White/black label. I didn't know what to expect but anticipated a very strong liquer - I wasn't wrong there. After that first hit you get used to the strength and can appreciate the flavour. I'm sold and will be ordering a bottle!

After trying the previous 86 and 100 proof i thought the 114 brand would be nothing but a bottle of paint stripper ready to turn your insides into mush. I was right. But what i didn't expect was the full intesified flavour upon contact with the tounge. tons of spice, sugar, charcoal, honey...it just goes on and on. Seriously Underated...Should be the best whisky in the world!
