Excellent drop
Opened a bottle this evening. I think it takes a few pours to truly get to know a bottle and this is class. The profile is similar to Clynelish in that it is honeyed, waxy and tropical fruity. This has a little bit more or a kick on the finish, which is fantastic. With a slightly higher proof this could be an absolute stonker. Well worth trying.
Whisky from Sth Africa brilliant !As if their Brandies weren't so good already
I took a chance, having never tried a South African whisky, and I'm very glad that I did so. An easy drinking whisky that goes well with a sweet dessert or even a little dark chocolate. I wish it were available in The States, as it gets to be a bit pricy having it shipped from overseas. Alas, perhaps in time . . .
A very enjoyable whisky; subtle flavour, smooth and drinkable.
