    An exceptional value Cognac, but not to be enjoyed simply because of the value. Enjoy it and compare to your favorite... you won't be disappointed.

    I usually drink Courvoisier VSOP on special occasions as it's an exceptional drink. I recently bought a bottle of this which is on a different level. Unbelievably smooth and tasteful - quite simply an absolute pleasure to drink.

    My family and I have tried Hine before - on VERY special occasions, and as always it is a cognac of superb silkiness - you have to try it to appreciate the difference between Hine and other "cognacs"!

    It's many years since I bought this VSOP and it is just as good as I remember. Head and shoulders above other VSOPs. The attractive bottle adds to the allure - instant recollection from my younger son is seriously into design.

    Complex burnt barley sugar butter and toffee fudge cream w hint of apples plum and apricot mash. Needs airing for 1 hour in glass and also v v small drop of water. Too much will ruin it...its not like whiskey in that respect. Big step up from other vsop brands!

    Wanting to buy my husband a nice bottle of cognac and after reading all reviews on all the cognac , I decided on this one. My husband REALLY likes it, he's no expert, but he says it very smooth and very drinkable, so much so I'm ordering another bottle for Christmas. He would recommend, one of the nicest cognac he's had .

    Excellent VSOP for the price, very mellow and fruity. And I have tried other Hine cognacs. It has now become my favourite cognac house!
