    I was a bit worried that the high alcohol content would mask that sweetness you would expect for this age but a bit of water to the dram allowed the banana bread milk chocolate caramel flavour to come through. And while this is the last peated Glen Garioch whisky, it's definitely not an Islay smoke bomb, but rather more like a bit of wood stove smoke smell in the background while you're sitting at the breakfast table eating your pancakes with maple syrup. A delicious whisky!

    Can't give five stars but was tempted. This is a classic expression from this seriously underrated distillery. Sweet spices, sweet oak, herbal and easy to drink. Great stuff.
