A hard-to-find, award-winning 100% rye whisk(e)y created by Maker's Mark's former master distiller, Dave Pickerell. Distilled and initially aged in Canada, before years of further ageing at WhistlePig farm in Vermont, this is, as owner Raj Bhakta puts it, 'a Canadian-US collaboration to the core'.

Dangerously smooth and delicious, recommend this for any Rye fan out there.

Price is rising on this. My favorite is Old World, but this one is a very close 2nd for a lot less money.

Absolutely wonderful. So smooth and balanced with a refined taste that you would not expect from a rye of this proof. It is expensive, but, as with many things in life, with this product you definitely get what you pay for.

Smooth. Just have to be careful of the proof. You won't realize until you have your second and a Half glasses.

Love this drink, I first tried this in America and it left me with a lasting impression. Yes it is expensive but in my opinion a very nice drink indeed. You take a sip and savour it then swallow. After a few seconds you get a lovely smoky spicy aftertaste.

Very disappointing. Sour, thin, and tastes about two years old. I do not understand what all the fuss is about. A classic example of putting marketing before product quality. There are much better ryes available for far less money. If you want an OK Canadian made, American bottled rye then try Jefferson's 10 year old. Even that is not as good as a lot of the MGP sourced bottles out there. I just hope the 'Triple One' restores my faith in Whistlepig. With apologies to Mr Freed, 'use only for (very expensive !) cocktails as it is wasted just sipping'.

Delicious but too pricey. It''s mainly for sipping and wasted on cocktails. For both sipping and mixing James Oliver from Oregon is an excellent 100% Rye that is 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the Whistle.
