Silky and smooth and very good quality but felt there was an unfamiliar sweet taste, that didn't lend itself to a really good 'gin and tonic' I feel that sometimes too much refining takes away the basic taste. I began drinking gin many years ago because I loved the taste. Maybe the old adage 'less is more' is something to remember.

A very good gin. The licorice makes this on slightly more one the spicy side. That said it is still quite delicate. would have give it a 5 but personally if im going down the spicey rout id go for a bottle whitny niel. just saying.

Very nice. Almost...almost as tasty as Hendricks!

I tried a sample at the royal Windsor horse show (2014). Without a doubt the best tasting gin on the market. Always ensure you use fevertree tonic. Simply moorish!

  • Stevo 7 April 2014

Can't split this with London No.1 as to which makes the perfect G&T so it's a tie. But seeing as Martin Millers is £10 cheaper it should probably edge it. Classy, classy gin just balances every flavour you want in a gin perfectly. Copa glass, large ice cubes, lemon peel, five juniper berries, a basil leaf, fevertree Mediterranean tonic. Remember where you heard it when you are sampling perfection! 94/100

Had a bottle of this whilst I was studying in the UK, and it converted all my friends, Gin drinkers and non-Gin drinkers alike. Fresh, full of flavour, but impossible to find where I am now!

have tried them all but this gin is so full of flavour and so smooth, only down side is that it is hard to locate it to buy, i have been a gin drinker for forty years.
