Customer Rating
Introduced in 2014 as a replacement for the 30 Year Old, this contains malt from the 1970s, a time when the distillery was owned by Glenlivet. A classic example of aged Speyside, this is sweet and spicy.

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting Notes by the Whisky Exchange

Nose: Tropical fruit salad, with fresh minty notes, dark chocolate and gentle spice.

Palate: More fruit, with papaya and apricot drizzled with golden syrup and dusted with spice.

Finish: Long, elegant and fruity, slowly turning towards milk-chocolate sweetness.

  • Producer's Tasting Notes

Nose: Luscious tropical fruit salad syrup with a delicate ripped mint and chocolate back note; all warmed by a gentle toasted oak spice.

    Colour: Gleaming rich golden amber.

Taste: A classic Speyside style combining waves of papaya and dried apricots with freshly-sawn oak spices, touches of golden syrup and distant milk chocolate which gently flow through the elegant long finish.
