Absolutely outstanding. Smooth, sweet, aromatic and very long.
Too sweet and lacks the complexity expected for the price paid...
Sweet on the nose with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla, but more subtle on the palate with a balanced finish.
Very tasty and surprising Dram with lovely floral notes. Very drinkable and approachable
This is obviously Glenlivet's take on Bruich's Black Art edition with little to no info. Make no mistake, this it not an equal, it's not close to being as complex despite Glenlivet's best attempt to make you think it is. But it is very nice. Once it's aired a bit and after a mouthful or two, this is a very nice whisky. This might sound like damning praise, but it's like a Baileys. Really creamy, with a similar nose. Add a drop of water and its quite warming.
