"My personal favourite whisky is The Macallan. The 10 year old is marvellous, the 18 year old is superb while the 25 year old is sensational."

Very good whiskey, a good value, exceptional quality.
My wife surprised me this Christmas 2011 with the 25 and I enjoy the 18 but this is outstanding.``
I was given a bottle of this by some good friends, and it is absolutely the best. I had tasted it in bars and restaurants, so I knew what was in store for me. It is my choice on very select occasions.
Medium plus intensity of brown with orange lights. On the nose, smoke, peat, orange peel, apricot, raisin and other dried fruits, very complex. On the palate, dry, creamy texture, full bodied, high alcohol. Flavours of peat, smoke, fudge, caramel, all the fruits from the nose plus a nutty quality also, much more complex then the nose. A long finish. Very high quality whiskey, smooth and bursting of flavour, exceptionally well made.
The 18 is better dollar for dollar
Smoky flavor with tannin sensation on the palate, finish smooth and dry with cinnamon, sherry and spice.
