A big sherry-cask whisky from Bruichladdich bottled at 12 years old by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. Distilled in June 2005 and bottled in November 2017, it shows off Bruichladdich's elegant spirit, which works especially well with active sherry casks.

Tasting Notes

  • Producer's Tasting Notes

Nose: Robust, aromatic, and replete with muscovado sugar and barley.

Palate: So big on crushed dark fruits showing its Sherry history, grist and spices.

Finish: Now treacle toffee, with a hint of mint, and ongoing spices.
