An 2010 vintage from Benromach, specially selected by The Whisky Exchange team exclusively for us. It was matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, giving the gently smoky spirit a creamy character that's complimented by fresh and cooked apples, chocolate, spice and a touch of mint.

Tasting Notes

Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
- Nose
  Charcoal-roasted apples, freshly sliced Granny Smiths, vanilla cream and singed meat – the crispy edges of a Sunday roast. Sweet spice develops: speculaas biscuits, cinnamon-dusted chocolate and cocoa nibs.
- Palate
  A burst of sharp apple leads to spicy baked apple, creamy chocolate sauce and singed cinnamon buns. Notes of barrel char hide at the back along with bobbly liquorice spogs and wax-polished oak.
- Finish
  Oaky spice and cinnamon cookies slowly fade, leaving wine gums, apples and a hint of fresh mint.
