Product Description

A young and vibrant Glenglassaugh from indie bottle Decadent Drinks. Matured for 8 years in a refill hogshead, this whisky was then bottled at 57.1% abv, the historic 100 proof. The nose presents with apple skins, malty cereals, peach preserves, with hints of mushroom earthiness. The palate is zingly and lively, with a softness that surprises given its youth and high alcohol content. Flavours of peach candies engulf the palate, complemented by a thick oily mouthfeel and a slight hint of white pepper. This is whisky with a depth and complexity that belies its youth.
