Krepkaya Vodka Reviews

In the years 80's I got the opportunity in Moskow to discover, among the many very tasteful "Stolishnaya's" versions, their "grand sister" the KREPKAYA, this true "strong" (translation from Russian) and pure Russian vodka, with the typical "stone" taste. Some very "good russian friends", visiting Belgium, brought me from time to time this Krepkaya vodka. From now more than 30 years, I tried to find it in Europe without any success. It seemed to be unknown in this part of the world. I'm very thankfull to "The Whisky Exchange" to give me the opportunity to finally get my favourite vodka. Just an advise: put it in deep freezer (-18?C) before to serve, it so give her full very appreciated flavour when she "reborn" in the mouth. (apologise for my "french speaking" english)
Perfect match with some great caviar !
There's vodka...and then there's Vodka with a capital V. This is the real deal, Soviet-era in character, leaning towards a Siberean winter wheat; syrupy & delicious when frozen down. Be sure to freeze your shot glasses too to get the full Russian effect. Don't be put off by the bottle size for the price. It has true strength but is also smooth & tasty all the way down. Worth every penny. Thank you Whisky Exchange. Always a treasure to be found on your website.
A truly superb vodka - probably the most character I've ever experienced in a vodka, with an undeniably Russian air to it. For maximum effect, drink in a small group, cold, from shotglasses and maybe put some Soviet-era music on! ;) )
