Product Description

The Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series are highly limited wheated bourbon expressions from Heaven Hill released each Spring and Autumn, reflecting the two traditional distillation seasons. Old Fitzgerald is itself an old and storied line dating back to the 1870s, and one of the few distilleries to survive Prohibition, due to its "medicinal" properties. Packaged in decanter-style bottles that pay tribute to Old Fitzgerald's famed 1950s branding, this adheres to the stringent requirements to be able to call itself bottled-in-bond. In fact, it goes over and above, selected from casks over twice the required four years of age.

This is the 15th edition of the series, bottled at 9 years of age. The product of a single distillery, from a single distilling season and bottled at 100 proof. Baking spices, candied apples, butterscotch and oak char all combine in a delightful exemplar of well-aged wheated bourbon.
